Installation

Proper installation of your artwork is essential, as it affects the viewing experience of your art. Whether you're hanging small or large pieces, placement and well proportioned spacing can affect viewing greatly. We at Conservation Framing have years of experience at art installation, and have worked in a variety of galleries and living spaces. Over the years, we have also dealt with a large number of different hanging surfaces, such as drywall, cement, plaster, metal, brick and fabric covered walls.

To accommodate your special needs, adjustable hanging devices are available for larger pieces when wire hangers would be inappropriate. This allows for fast and accurate leveling and minimizes unnecessary damage to walls. Upon request we will visit your installation site and provide you with an estimate. Specialized picture lights—electric, battery powered and rechargeable—are also available.
