PICTURE HANGING

Proper installation of your artwork is essential, as it affects the viewing experience of your art. Whether you're hanging small or large pieces, placement and well proportioned spacing can affect viewing greatly. We at Conservation Framing have 30 years of experience in art installation, have worked in a variety of businesses and homes, and are familiar with a large number of different hanging surfaces, such as drywall, cement, plaster, metal, brick and fabric covered walls.

 

When hanging in a public or high traffic area we often employ security hangers which “lock” your art to the wall but are easily removed with a security key. When hanging art in children’s rooms we often use security hangers that will prevent the art from moving if impacted. Adjustable hangers allow for fast and accurate leveling and minimizes unnecessary damage to walls.
